summertime countdown! | sf outside lands
Hello! Today, I am in the happiest mood. First, I found some wonderful vintage dresses yesterday (I’ll blog about them soon. Really). Secondly, I woke up to the newly announced Outside Lands music festival lineup, which I have been waiting for, forever! It is always a hit or miss kind of thing. Last year, I went with my friend Katie, mainly to see my favorite lady Cat Power. She was wonderful. But the rest of the bands weren’t my favorites.
summertime countdown! | pleated maxi skirts
Summer is right around the corner! Well, technically it is a few months away, but I will be graduating and entering the big world in about one month. That will be when my summer begins. When I think of summer, I think of traveling and drinking lemonade and going to music festivals. And all of those things will be happening :)

Aren’t they beautiful??
The other day, Kat found this wonderful skirt at a thrift store.
So there is hope in thrifting pretty maxi skirts. I don’t know who would throw out such a great piece of clothing, but I’d like to thank them :)

But now I am so comfortable in my skin regardless of what I’m wearing. And it’s always fun to look back at the people who made fun of your clothes when styles roll right back around and you find them wearing the same exact thing. Well I’m of to go shopping at la guage, happy thrifting my friends!

spring break, part one
Hey! I’m in Arizona this week, for the first time (excluding the airport). My spring break has been pretty lovely so far. Except that I’m sick and had the most bummer of a flight ever. I think I am getting better though. :)
I began my spring break by scouting out beautiful houses in Davis with my future roommate Sara. This one is unfortunately not for sale. What a dreeeaam house, right??
Sara and I went to the Co-op on a hunt for some chocolate. So many choices!
On Friday at my internship, I read The Honeybee Man to my mom’s first grade students. She bought this book in Portland last fall. It is so good. As I read it, I interrupted myself a bunch of time to add anecdotes about bees :) how I love them.
The other night, I started to crave lemonade like nobody’s business. So I made some! We have connections with lemon tree owners.
Well, I’ve been inside all day. Time to go out and be a part of the world :)
