My thrifting adventures last week were everything I had hoped for and more. I found tons of beautiful fabric scraps and squares, as well as larger pieces for larger projects. Sewing, like my tripod, is another frenemy of mine. But I want to get good at it and make everything in the world. We’ll see how that goes…
This is not even a third of the fabric from a giant bag I found. I separated the patterns I liked from the ones I didn’t care for. There were many patterns that weren’t so cute, but the whole bag was $5 so I can’t complain.
These teacups were $2 each at an antique mall, but I could’ve sworn I saw them at another vendor for $22. Hey-o. :) I also thrifted the tablecloth.
I rejoiced about this one for quite while. It was $5 and it just looks so Anthro/makes me want to make aprons forever. Somebody teach me?
This tea towel calendar is labeled with the years 1822 and 1974, but I realized the day/dates are the same as this year! Hooray!
More beautiful fabric! These are the larger pieces I was talking about. Boy, do I have plans for these.
How adorable are these salt and pepper shakers? I purchased them for $3 at an antique store. I love when antique stores have thrifty prices.
And last but not least, a Helen Keller book for a dollar! Because she is wonderful. It’s going straight to the top of my reading list.
I’m really excited about all of these. This may have been one of my favorite thrifting/antiquing outings ever.
Have you thrifted anything great treasures lately?
