Hey there! In an effort to do a little more networking and make some wonderful blog friends, I have decided to go monthly with my blog sponsorships! Until now, I have just traded buttons with other bloggers with a “you keep my button up, I’ll keep yours up” kind of deal. I’m thinking a little monthly sponsor call might be refreshing & fun. Vintage Pedestal Mugs

Sometimes I am so conflicted about whether I should keep or sell something. That’s how I have been feeling about this mug for the past few months. I turned it into a candle with the intention of putting in the shop…and I put it off forever… But I think now it’s time :)

Now that this candle is officially in the shop and I have no intention of coveting it, I’ve been looking at other cute floral pedestal mugs!

Today, I am working on my vintage inventory. Who knew it would be so time consuming? Photographing, measuring, researching… sheesh. I am learning so much.

Happy June! I have a feeling this is going to be an exciting month. For the past few days, I have had a lot of time on my hands to make crafts and photograph my vintage clothing. I don’t know how my Earl Grey shop will change over the next few months. I’m realizing that selling vintage is a bit of a trial run. Maybe it’s not my thing! But maybe it is. I am definitely still learning.

 

I was able to get online for a few moments yesterday to list three vintage dresses, but that’s all for now. My internet is not really usable for the next couple of days. We’re that family that still has limited wireless internet. So I won’t be blogging for a few days, but making things instead :)

I Graduated! + Giveaway Winner

Hey everyone! It has been the most insane weekend. On Saturday, I graduated from college. It was exciting.

The next day, I was in Charissa and Luke’s beautiful wedding :) More to come on that.

Now, I am trying to figure out how to organize my whole life so that I can relax and feel like it’s really summer. That day will come, sooner than later I hope.

Anyway, today is an exciting day! I get to announce the winner of the Campus Book Rentals giveaway! Not very many people entered the giveaway, but that’s okay. One lucky person is going to be pretty happy about cheap textbooks :)

I’ve got a domain name!

Hey everyone, exciting news! I now have a domain name.

I love how short and sweet it is. Earlgreyvintage.blogspot.com will still redirect to the new url. This means I have a new email, jennifer@earlgreyblog.com, which is so cool. Changing emails is stressful. Somehow I ended up with four of them that I still use… summer will equal consolidation time.

Along with this change are a couple of other changes! Right now, I will just be blogging solo. This school year has been really busy and Kat is moving home for the summer, so we won’t be able to blog/sell much together yet. But! Very soon, it will happen :)

Also, good thing I took “vintage” off of the url, because people are probably wondering, “…where’s the vintage?” Well, it’s coming. My dress form arrived in the mail and I am so excited to photograph vintage items to sell. I can’t wait to become a part of the Etsy community as a regular seller and a blogger.

I have some pretty cute things going up this week. Yeah, I say that all of the time. Probably shouldn’t make any promises.

Anyway, Happy May 1st! Already…? I think that’s crazy.

It’s one of those days, like Valentine’s Day, that should be every day. Coincidentally, I stumbled upon these environmentally friendly paper heart seeds from KaBloomz on Etsy. They would be so perfect as wedding favors or just as a simple gift. Each heart contains seeds of a variety of wildflowers :)
