These are just a few things that caught my eye this week. I’d wear that gold feather barrette every single day if I could. And the one dark accent wall in that bedroom is beautiful! I’m super into all white walls lately, but this would be a pretty way to change it up. Thirdly, I am always looking for ways to put my yarn addiction to good use. This yarn hanging backdrop project might be happening soon! Plus, these are what I have been calling my summer colors! Love, love. And well. Sometimes I roll my eyes at really dainty, unrealistically beautiful things, but you know what? I want to be in this field of peonies. And I think most of us do. :)

A couple other noteworthy things I came across this week:

Bekuh’s post describing a perfect morning in San Francisco. I’ve never wanted to live in the city, but just reading her post gave me a feeling a peace that lasted all day. :)

A Beautiful Mess Photo Idea Book! It arrived on my doorstep today and I honestly don’t know the last time I’ve been so excited to get mail. So far I have only skimmed it, but I already feel inspired.

Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? I can’t believe there is only a month(ish) left of summer.

Do you ever get warm fuzzies just because it’s Saturday? I do. :) Today is my first day without having work or plans all day, so I’m just staying home and accomplishing a bunch of blog goals. Oh man, I’m excited.

Just a few contributions to these warm fuzzies…

How are you spending this fine summer weekend?

The top photo is of a bed and breakfast in Detroit. Oooh! It looks amazing. It includes laundry amenities, a fully stocked kitchen, and vintage bikes. Oh my gosh.

Happy Friday!! Do you have any exciting weekend plans? I’m making s’mores tonight :)

Ooooh, I feel inspired today! My work shift was canceled, so I have the whole day to myself. I have some things I need to do (clean, get groceries, do laundry) and lots of things I want to do (have coffee with friends, finish some DIY’s, find somebody with a pool). So, we’ll see what gets accomplished.

That last photo is a Swedish tree hotel covered in mirrors! One of the coolest things I have ever seen. It is also kind of spooky.

How was everybody’s fourth of July?? Mine involved swimming, beer, working on a puzzle with my grandma, and fireworks. Hope you all have a nice summery day. :)

It’s Fridaaayy! And I think it is officially summer-weather-season where I live…it is supposed to be 102 tomorrow. Summer is crazy hot around here, but I do love those summer nights. So I can’t complain. :)

Happy weekend. :)

Hello, and happy MAY! I have never thought much of May until this year. I think I really love it. It’s warm enough to wear shorts (at least where I am), but it is not so hot it’s miserable. Also the night time walks during this time of year are fantastic. I am currently looking forward to s’mores parties, music festivals, and going to the beach. Gotta make that beach trip happen soon.

Anyway, here are my favorites this week:

For the past week, I have been a little out of it. I am trying to figure out the best ways to have more energy every day…hopefully soon I’ll be back in the swing of things. :)
