These are just a few things that caught my eye this week. I’d wear that gold feather barrette every single day if I could. And the one dark accent wall in that bedroom is beautiful! I’m super into all white walls lately, but this would be a pretty way to change it up. Thirdly, I am always looking for ways to put my yarn addiction to good use. This yarn hanging backdrop project might be happening soon! Plus, these are what I have been calling my summer colors! Love, love. And well. Sometimes I roll my eyes at really dainty, unrealistically beautiful things, but you know what? I want to be in this field of peonies. And I think most of us do. :)
A couple other noteworthy things I came across this week:
Bekuh’s post describing a perfect morning in San Francisco. I’ve never wanted to live in the city, but just reading her post gave me a feeling a peace that lasted all day. :)
A Beautiful Mess Photo Idea Book! It arrived on my doorstep today and I honestly don’t know the last time I’ve been so excited to get mail. So far I have only skimmed it, but I already feel inspired.
Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? I can’t believe there is only a month(ish) left of summer.

That barrette would be the perfect everyday statement piece! Totally agree with you there! I love the cowhide in that room too, the dark wall is nice but the cowhide is what stands out the most to me! One day…..Enjoy the rest of your summer! My great-grandpa is turning 92 so hopefully I can get down there to see him!

Oh my gosh – I got my A Beautiful Mess book on Monday! I have read a couple of chapters and I am IN LOVE! I’m going to be posting about it on my blog once I’m finished and have an open day on my blog (I have posts through the first week of September scheduled! Yikes!)

I have a silver feather that’s similar and I adore it.
