Window Shopping | Target!

10/16/2012 by Jennifer 1 Comment

Target really just has it all. Sometimes I go there with a list of two or three necessities. You know, like medicine, or really important things. And I come out of the store with bright colored jeans :) Yikes.

1. These tomato soup cans are the talk of the town, huh? I’m brainstorming some ways to recycle them after I make all the soup. Soup weather is definitely on its way :)

2. Colorful jeans! AHHHH! My roommate has the pink ones (so I am going to borrow them all the time), and I just purchased the goldenrod ones. Man. They’re perfect. I think the mint ones are sold out everywhere, but I plan to keep searching.

3. Orla Kiely Method soap bottles. Holy moly.

That’s all! I guess this isn’t really a “window shopping” post, but a “real shopping” one. Hopefully Target will stop selling cute things soon because I’ve made a few unnecessary purchases recently.

ps. Only a few more days to enter the Shabby Apple giveaway! They have the most perfect dresses for fall. And don’t forget, anyone can use the promo code earlgrey10off to receive 10% off of Shabby Apple purchases until Nov 8th.

Window Shopping | School Supplies

09/11/2012 by Jennifer 5 Comments

Let’s talk about school supplies! I am a strong believer that school supplies are always necessary, whether or not you are a student. I’ve been known to drag people into Office Max and Staples just to breathe in the smell of the store and look around. I guess when you call them “office supplies,” it is more acceptable. Whatever you call them… I’ll be buying them for the rest of my life.

Here are some things that I’d buy if I had an excuse to be frivolous :)

one, two, three, four, five

I think those pencils are the best. But I really don’t need any of these things. In fact, I need to downsize my supplies…

Are you going back to school? If not, are you shopping for school supplies anyway??

Window Shopping | Anthro Dresses

08/17/2012 by Jennifer 3 Comments

Earlier this week, I met up with my blogger friend Charity in Berkeley! It was lovely to finally meet since we live so close to one another! Her blog is great and full of beautiful finds. Go check it out :)

We walked around downtown and ended up at Anthropologie. I don’t think I’ve made an Anthro purchase since Christmas Eve, when I worked there. Self control is a beautiful thing!! Also, I don’t have that discount anymore. Anyway, in a dream world, I would have these dresses and wear them all the time:

one, two, three

The second one is my absolute favorite. Can it go on sale now-ish? The third one might make me look like a big rainbow, but maybe I could embrace it.

Which one do you like best?

08/14/2012 by Jennifer 4 Comments

I love vintage glass tumblers. In fact, I just love all vintage kitchenware. And in less than three weeks, my roommates and I will be moving into an adorable house and I’ll have an excuse to buy things like this. I can’t wait!!

one, two, three, four, five

I was so happy to find #4 a while back. I had purchased two (and broken one of them), so I’d love to get more of them soon :)

Vintage Mexican Dresses

07/21/2012 by Jennifer 5 Comments

I just love vintage Mexican dresses! They’re bright and happy and the embroidery is always beautiful.

one, two three, four, five

Most of these aren’t available to purchase anymore (except for the one in the middle), but Etsy is full of them! Today, I am trying to do productive shop/blog things. I’m crocheting a bunch of slouchy hats. In the middle of summer. Whatevs. And I am planning DIYs. And I’m working on a photography website! Time to get this show on the road. Busy, busy, busy.

PS. I can finally reply to comments!!! Something was up with my layout I guess. So if you ever have a question, check back because I will reply :)
