Accomplishing blog and business-type goals is much easier when I have exciting, new office supplies. There is a science behind that, right? If you handed my 8-year-old self a Lisa Frank notebook, I would suddenly be so excited to write about even the most boring school subjects. In high school, I tried to be cool and minimal but I secretly looked for any excuse to buy new school supplies. And in college, I was all about those fresh new Moleskine journals.
Nowadays, I love a mix of workspace styles. I think I’m happiest when I’m working with bright supplies, but I do love a good plain, blank notebook.
1. Assembly Home Cone Table Lamp – Urban Outfitters
2. Mint Tape Dispenser – Poppin
3. Glasses Pocket iPhone 5 Case – Kate Spade
4. Solid Washi Tape – Kate Spade Saturday, sold out. (similar)
5. Hanging Desk Organizer – Anthropologie
6. Lil’ Bunny Paper Clips – The Container Store
7. Page Tabs – Russel + Hazel
8. Minimal Planners – Poketo
9. Kraft Square Sticky Notes – Moorea Seal
10. Slip-On Calculator – Anthropologie
11. Golden Ruler – Moorea Seal
12. Color Block Pens – Poketo
This summer, my workspace has been my bed or my couch, but hopefully I’ll get this place together enough to set up a tiny desk somewhere. What’s your ideal workspace like? Are you more minimal or more Lisa Frank (so to speak)?

I’m in love with those pens and the kraft paper sticky notes! My desktop is covered in sticky notes with cryptic reminders. Once I have absolutely no idea what they mean anymore, I figure it’s time to remove them haha!

Ahhhh, Lisa Frank! I miss!
I spend way too much money on pretty notebooks. Surprisingly, Target always has the best ones!

Ughh yesss it’s all so cute. I want it all!!…For my imaginary workspace. I share one small/decent-sized room with my SO in which I have made a desk space for him while I’m seated on the bed. You best believe I have been dreaming up a spot to hoard office supplies and magazines (and my own chair!). Blog posts about workspaces just ignite something in me.
