Holiday Gift Guide | For the Hostess

12/09/2013 by Jennifer 4 Comments

Finding the right gift for a hostess is really kind of fun! In my opinion. If you know a little bit about your hostess friend’s style, there are a lot of different ways to pick out personal gifts. Maybe she enjoys making cocktails or maybe she is a spectacular baker. Of course, a safe option for a gift might be flowers or a bottle of wine. If you’re attending a holiday party this year or you have a friend or family member who loves to host, here a just a few ideas for gifts…

1. Chirp Your Enthusiasm Apron – Modcloth $44.99
2. Winter Cocktails – Terrain $22.95
3. Bloom Bud Vase – LEIF $20.00
4. Threshold Porcelain Salt Shaker Reindeer – Target $2.99
5. Horned Beauty Bottle Opener – Anthropologie $28.00
6. Matchbox Candle – Anthropologie $20.00
7. What’s a Hostess to Do? – Paper Source $17.95

Those horned bottle openers are beeaautiful and humanely made! Also, the What’s a Hostess to Do? book is amazing. I flip through it all the time at work. There are tons of yummy looking recipes and creative ideas for throwing parties.

Are you attending or hosting any holiday parties this year? I really wanted to throw a Christmas party but there’s no time. I am working on a New Year’s get together though. :)

These are all lovely. I think it can be kind of hard to pick a hostess gift, because there are really only so many things that “make sense” in that situation… and then I feel like I start repeating things!
