1. The French Twist by Carol Cottrill is witty book that compares the general American view of food and exercise to that of the French. It is surprisingly uplifting! Cottrill writes that “the key to weight management is self-affirmation”. This book also contains helpful facts about “body and beauty foods” (for example, leafy greens help with dark circles under eyes and acne). Oh and there are recipes. This would be a perfect gift for your health-obsessed relative or for…yourself. I can’t help but be greedy about this one. It’s a good read. :)
2. Well this one is pretty self-explanatory. Everyone needs honey. How about this Bumbleberry Chunk Honey from Terrain?
3. I think a calendar is the perfect gift that one could give in December. I know many people may be very particular about their calendar for the new year (I am super picky), but this calendar from Rifle Paper Co. is irresistible.
4. I love these ornament/tea containers for David’s Tea! This flavor is called Sleigh Ride – it’s an apple and spice herbal blend with hibiscus, cinnamon, and candied fruit. Oh my.
5. For my birthday, my roommate got me one of these amazing One Vessel glass tumblers. Mine has bees and flowers on it, but I couldn’t find a good picture of that design. I think it’s discontinued. Anyway, the beauty of this tumbler is that it is double-walled and it comes with a basket-like strainer so you can drink your loose leaf tea like a pro.
6. This. Is. Amazing. I can’t even tell you how much I love Dr. Hunter’s Rose & Glycerine Hand Cream. Everything about it is perfect. It is lightweight, it smells like an enchanted garden, and it works very well. It also comes from a line of other products that I can’t wait to try.
7. This one of the liquid supplements from I AM Enlightened Creations that I reviewed yesterday! These are just such easy gifts. The ingredients are natural and wonderful. I think they’d make cute little stocking stuffers.
8. How about an Organic Vegetable Garden Kit for the friend who is counting the days until springtime? This comes with eight different seed varieties including edible flowers.
9. And I think anybody could use these Farmers Market Page Flags from Paper Source. So cute!
Have you started your holiday shopping this year? I’m starting next week. At least that’s the plan.
