I used to dream of a house with deep, rich colored walls and wooden furniture. The wooden furniture is still a “yes please,” but lately I have been drawn to plain, white walls. They let everything else in the room pop. In my house, we don’t have many sources of light, but the rooms still look bright and airy because of the white walls. Also, like I said, I am loving having a plain background for product photos.
I prefer the smaller accents in #1 and #5, but the others are really fun too.
How do you like your walls? Plain…patterned…colorful?

Of course I love everything about these rooms. But I must say — after living in a white box for the last 8 years, I’m soooo excited to buy our first home and play with paint colors!

I love colorful! Unfortunately my significant other likes everything boring and plain… Such a guy. I keep telling him when we get our home I get to have a fun room where I can just go nuts with every color of the rainbow and then some!!

wow, i love these pictures. yes, i love the combination of white walls and colorful accents; that’s currently how I have my apt. and i absolutely love it. it’s nice to mix it up once in a while.

I love have plain white walls, too! They add light and space and they are great as background for photos :-) And I love that mint chair on the picture!

Since I’m renting, I can’t really do anything about the white walls of my apartment but I love to add pops of color where I can in my accent pieces. I think that’s more powerful and beautiful than having something big, bright, and bold.
