My grandma is going to teach me how to knit this week! We were planning to have a lesson up in the cottage, but we lost the knitting needles for a while. Knitting is a big goal of mine this year – at least getting the basics down. Then, I’ll probably stick with the hook.
In a dream world (or in many years, fingers crossed), here are the things I would love to make:
Do you knit or crochet? Which do you prefer?

My goal this year – okay, one of many – is to learn crocheting. My mother-in-law started teaching me back in 2011, but I’ve never been good with following through especially when I goof up, d’oh!!! I was just telling Jen I want to learn crochet FOR REAL this year. ;) Wish me luck!!!
And good luck to you too!

I know how to knit and crochet, and crocheting is by far my favorite. It’s much looser, which is easier for me. The scarves I attempted to knit always ended up about 5 inches long because the stitch would get too tight for me to continue!

I know how to knit but I want to get better at it, and I’m going to try crocheting!

I knit and crochet. I really enjoy both but I use them for different projects. If I want to make a blanket I crochet because it’s faster but for hats, scarves, socks, and smaller things knitting is best.

I just learned how to knit. My daughter taught me about a month ago. I love knitting. It’s a lot of fun and I’m so excited to make gifts for people and pretty things for myself. Becca :)
