Normally, I would have planned a huge celebratory November blog post. It’s my favorite month ever. I accidentally took a blog hiatus though, so Happy November 5th everybody :)
This season has been nothing but rough. I woke up one day and realized it was fall, and November, and beautiful outside.
A few silver linings:
1. My mom brought over Molly the other night! I don’t think the house I live in allows pets, so it was nice to have a furry friend in there for a while.
2. I have been writing a lot of thankful lists. Gotta do whatcha gotta do. More to come on numbers 4 and 5 on that list.
3. I’ve been spending a lot of time at home. Not at my house, but my mom’s house. It’s what I need and it is peaceful :) I should probably stop making a habit of it and get to know people in this new town.
4. Halloween came and went. I was Ann Perkins and Sara was Leslie Knope. Any Parks and Rec fans out there? That show gives me so much joy.
Oh! And…..a Whole Foods opened down the street from me :)
(I tried to jump onto the brussel sprouts bandwagon, but they aren’t my favorite.)

you should roast the brussel sprouts. really, any other way is gross. BUT ROASTING! It’s amazing. Just cut them in fourths, sprinkle with olive oil, add some sea salt and put them in a 450 oven for about 30 minutes, flipping halfway. i promise you’ll become a fan
