Cooking is something I have never enjoyed. I love and appreciate food and people who create fancy meals on a whim. I also love food photography. But I’m not a chef or a baker or anything. However! I volunteered to make cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving this year. Even though I don’t like cooking on a regular basis, I have been craving new hobbies. Also, sometimes recipes just look really good and I feel compelled to try them out. Take these for instance:
1. Spiced Cranberry Sauce – The Kitchn
2. Cranberry Sauce with Port and Dried Figs – Epicurous
3. Pear, Brandy, and Walnut Cranberry Sauce – FOOD52
4. Cranberry Orange Rosemary Sauce – Joy the Baker
5. Spicy Cranberry-Chipotle Sauce – My Recipes
6. Red Wine Cranberry Sauce – Alexandra’s Kitchen
Mmmmmm! They all look so good. I’m thinking about making one recipe that is more classic and one that is a little boozy. Right now, I am leaning toward #4 and #6. The Kitchn has also provided this handy list of 7 ways to perk up your cranberry sauce. Good to know.
Which ones look good to you?

The Whiskey Cranberry dish…wait. That wasn’t included?! lol, I love to cook and enjoy cranberry concoctions more as I get older, but I’m not big on wine in cooking. I prefer the taste of bourbon or whiskey. Buuuttt…it’s the holiday:) So I’ll let it slide! I think I would go with 3! I love pears too!
