Thanks for the birthday wishes! I had full twenty four hours of birthday fun. On Wednesday night, Sara and I had a thanksgiving meal at Whole Foods before heading over to Vini. It was such an interesting experience. A lot of good jazz music, art, and wine. The self-serve wine system blew my mind. After that, we went to Sophia’s Thai Kitchen Bar and had some very interesting conversations with strangers.

My actual birthday day was simple and happy. I met my long lost friend Lauren at a cafe called Chocolat. Lauren and I were such great friends in high school, and we just discovered that we are living in the same town again! We have years and years to catch up on, and it has been so refreshing to hang out with her again :)

I took a long walk by myself, wandering in and out of different shops. Eventually, it got lonely, so I came home and painted a “Happy Birthday to Me” painting. Am I a Birthday Princess? Maybe…yeah… but it was fun!

I carried on my three year tradition of meeting with my family at my grandma’s house on my birthday night. My sisters are the best! They bring me so much happiness. We ate cake. Talked about Carly Rae Jepsen. Talked about politics. I love them so much.

Anyway, today is just an ordinary day. It is raining outside and I want to cozy up under blankets and take e-courses all day. Unfortunately, I am working today and I have so much to prepare for the craft fair tomorrow. If you are in the Sacramento area, check out this link for more details :)
