I have a crazy “soul tie” to this place. There isn’t really anywhere that I love more. My grandma used to live in a big wooden house on Friendly Ln. in Gualala with a garden abyss as the backyard. She moved closer to us and sold the house. I would’ve bought it, but I was ten.
Last week, my two wonderful, former roomies and I traveled up the coast to stay in a house in the redwoods. It was so fun! A perfect graduation present to ourselves.
We spent most of the time eating, being in the hot tub, and drinking the best chai ever from Blue Canoe. We also watched tons of movies! Super relaxing.
I’m hoping to go up there again this summer with family & friends to stay in a different house that I hear is fantastic :)

We really love seeing this trip! Our home is near Lake Tahoe in CA; we love the Redwoods. We’ve been staying in FL for a short time and are homesick for the woods…
Thank you so much for sharing! You brought some comfort of Cali to us here in FL. So happy we stopped by tonight. If you stop by http://www.puddlesprice.com you can find out about us and what we gals are up to. Hope to hear from you!
